![]() Me too… I always feel like saying, “Well hell, if I knew that I wouldn’t be waiting” Plus there's everything we’ve been told about waiting being a trap, that only losers get caught in. It seems some smarty-pants guru is always bringing this to our attention by quoting some other famous go-getter. “Do not wait, the time will never be just right.” George Herbert “Things come to those who wait, but only what’s left by those who hustle”. Abraham Lincoln “Don’t wait for opportunities. Weak men wait for opportunities. Strong men create them”. Orison Swett Marden “Make ‘someday’ today”. Dove chocolate wrapper Brilliant. Thanks a lot know -it -alls. And there we are left looking at ourselves saying. “Dang. They are so right. What am I waiting for?” Here is a great way to find what that is, plus an opportunity to actually use algebra in real life! It’s true! The moment you’ve anticipated since 8 grade has arrived. Write out anything you are waiting to have or accomplish in this format. I have this/ am here, and once I do/have/create/finish this, then I can do/have/create/finish that” Congrats! You have effectively created a circumstance for action to take place. a+b=c. From here finding what you are waiting is really easy because you have two known variables and just one unknown: What you are starting with (known) + what you require (x) in order to get (=) what you want (known) Now all you have to do is “solve” for x. What is actually required? I recommend you write this out. For some reason seeing it visually makes it easier to solve. (Think about doing a math problem. Is it easier in to solve in your head or out on paper?) Alright, now the cool part. Once you clearly see the value of “x” you know how much energy is required for you to solve the equation. Chances are it’s a much smaller factor than you originally thought. If you find that (x) = too much work, not enough money or time, please click here to schedule a Free 30 minute Breakthrough Strategy Session. It's just like after school tutoring but you won't have to do any math, I promise. In this amazingly effective session we will eliminate your X-factor giving you less work, more money, more time to enjoy what you’d truly like to have. Take it easy, Betsy
